Learn painting fundamentals

Take beginning steps to familiarize yourself with digital drawing and painting tools as well as foundation principles. This class is fit for the very beginner artist or anyone looking to venture into drawing and painting. In this class you'll learn the foundations of digital drawing, painting, and the basics for drawing human and animal figures. You will learn through in-depth mentored online training on how to handle Photoshop and a drawing tablet while pushing your skill level a little further each week. The workshop is built around helping you learn to manage the software and tablet while creating your first digital painting.

Introduction to all basic functions for digital drawing (Brushes, eraser, warp tool, etc...)
Values, basic face anatomy, basic painting techniques
Custom brushes for digital painting, lasso, color tools (such as colorous)
Painting a human face, eyes, nose, lips, ears and hair in color
This sets the foundation for week 6 to 8 since we combine everything learned so far in one assignment
Planing concept art or illustration, project sketches 2 different suggestions / can also be creatures or animals | I can‘t stress enough how important proper research is which is why we will do that here. | We will also learn what thumb-nailing is and the very important difference between illustration and concept art.
We practice proper researching once more (Because of its importance) and work on our projects.
