Nicolas Sauval

Nicolas Sauval is an FX Lead at Framestore Montreal. He graduated from ArtFx School with a Master Degree “Digital Director” in Montpellier. After that he spent a year in Paris working for multiple companies with the goal to learn as much as he could, mostly in Advertising (One More Production, Mathematic, Mac Guff Line) but also in Video Game Cinematics (Unit Image). Then he had the great opportunity to join the FX Crew of Framestore London to work on Doctor Strange for which he helped on a few of the iconic effects (Doctor Strange’s Runeshields present in Marvel’s Title). He has been at Framestore ever since, working on more than a dozen movies (Avengers Infinity War / Spiderman Far From Home / Alita Battle Angel / James Bond: No Time To Die / The Suicide Squad / The Matrix Resurrections / Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore). At Framestore he has found a place where he can challenge himself every day and keeps learning to perfect his skills. Nicolas has been orienting himself more and more toward Rendering and Look-development of FX which takes all the technicality that FX has to offer but also adds a whole lot of artistic skills to make it look as good as possible (or as realistic as possible).
