Paint beautiful textures for film
This class will focus on creating high-resolution textures and shaders with a film/cinematic approach. The texturing specifically will focus on a creature bust, pin-pointing major detail areas such as the facial skin, teeth, gums, lips, and ears. You will also be focusing on the more difficult and intricate portions of texturing, such as skin details, man-made materials. *For classes with fewer than 6 students feedback may be provided during the live Q&A session. (Lectures by Chris Nichols) Estimated time for course work: 10-20 hours per week

Breno Guinart, is a texture and lookdev artist at Digital Domain. He's worked on titles such as Marvel's "Avengers: Infinity War," "Spider-Man Homecoming," and "Power Rangers" 2017. His main focus is character/creature work (enjoys working on robots), occasionally works in various stages of character production from concept to fully textured and lookdev model. He has a passion for creatures and all their intrinsic aspects that comes from an early age, and before starting his endeavor in computer graphics, he was a Veterinary college student. He worked on 3D models that allowed him to apply both scientific observation and creative impulse, which led to his second passion: Film! He is excited to teach and share the knowledge he's acquired, working on some of the most iconic characters in movies today.
