Learn Houdini's procedural workflow

This class will take you from zero to hero with Houdini’s procedural workflow. You will gain confidence and experience in all areas of Houdini’s powerful 3D pipeline including procedural geometry, particles, fluids, dynamics, shading, lighting, and rendering. This is a great course to take before intermediate and advanced courses because it breaks down the fundamentals, giving you a deeper grasp on how Houdini works.

Duration:   8 weeks
Assignment:   Due each week. Expect to spend 10-20 hrs/wk viewing lectures, Q&A, and time on assignments.

Materials:   Latest Houdini (Apprentice ok)
Skills level:   Intermediate
Prerequisites:   No prior Houdini experience is needed however knowledge of 3D principles is highly recommended

Varomix is an FX TD and Houdini master, having used the program since its first apprentice version back in 2002. He has created both animations and VFX for different projects in TV, Film, VR, Games, etc. He has worked with brands such as Ford, Nissan, Nerf, and Halls, and has contributed to many films, most recently "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle". He is also an avid Beta tester, helping test and develop programs such as Houdini, Renderman, Redshift, SpeedTree, Clarisse, VRay, and Arnold.
